Founded in June 2016 as Impact Junk Removal, Impact Environmental Company has grown four-fold in the last 18 months. Between June 2016 and June 2020, Impact Junk Removal did business as a sole proprietorship, and since its founding has been entirely owner-operated. At that time the business was headquartered in La Mesa, California and Lemon Grove, California. As of late-2020, the company formally incorporated as Impact Environmental Company and moved its headquarters to El Cajon, California. Today it operates two locations, both in the El Cajon area. Impact will collect furniture, yard debris, residential garbage, green waste, jacuzzis, bathtubs, electronics, renovation/construction debris, heavy antiques, metal and scrap, concrete or dirt, refrigerators, washers and dryers, mattresses, demolition or fire-damaged remains, and more. In all cases, Impact will do its best to sort, recycle and donate materials that can be repurposed after every pickup, and to date has recycled or donated about 70% of everything it has processed.
