Company Description: Norman Leigh was founded by a Chicago-based couple that focuses on crafting furniture, home furnishings and accessories using reclaimed materials when possible. Much of our material is found by scouring dumpsters around the Chicago area. We love saving usable materials from entering landfills and instead using them to create pieces that are functional and beautiful.Our designs focus on clean lines and geometric shapes. By playing with angles and using a natural finish on most of our pieces, the unique character of the wood really shines through. A lot of the wood we use is over 100 years old and the nail holes and other markings really tell a story. We love nothing more than allowing the wood to keep telling it's story.
